New Delhi: Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi of Belarus entered the doubles semi-finals of the euro 2.4-million-ATP Tennis Masters in Paris with a walk-over in the quarter finals from Fernando Gonzalez and Nicolas Massu of Chile on Thursday.
The fourth seeded Indo-Belarussian pair had earlier defeated Andrei Pavel of Romania and Zimonjic of Serbia and Montenegro 7-5, 7-6 (7-3) in the pre-quarters.
Bhupathi and Mirnyi will play Zimbabwe?s Wayne Black and Kevin Ulyett, who beat Mark Knowles and Daniel Nestor 6-4, 6-4 in another quarter final.
Meanwhile, qualifier Radek Stepanek and Argentine Guillermo Canas took advantage of the absence of leading players and the early losses of others to scrape into the Paris Masters last four on Friday.
Czech Republic?s Stepanek beat Russian Mikhail Youzhny 7-6, 6-3 to reach his first semi-final of a Masters Series tournament.
Canas, seeded 13th, took his revenge for last month's Vienna final defeat by beating Spaniard Feliciano Lopez 6-3, 6-3.
