New Delhi: India failed to qualify for the World Cup golf championship after the team of Rahil Gangjee and Amandeep Johl finished seventh in the qualifiers held at Palm Resort Golf and Country Club in Senai, Malaysia.
The top three finishers ? South Korea, Myanmar and Taiwan ? made it to the World Cup to be held in November in Seville, according to information received here.
South Korea pipped overnight leaders Myanmar via sudden death play-off, after the two countries tied with a four-round aggregate of 276, to win the qualifiers.
