Rohan in second round
Ninth seed Rohit Kumar was upset by Rohan Ray 3-6, 6-7 (2-7) in the first round of the boys? under-18 category, on the fourth day of the Aarbur Hardcourt tennis championship at the Calcutta South Club courts on Tuesday. In another match, Karan Gupta and Saurav Kothari slugged it out for ninety minutes before Karan got the better of Saurav 6-1, 1-6, 6-2. In the girls? under-10 section, Madhurima Chaudhuri blanked out her opponent Naina Jalan within 30 minutes.
