LAUNCH

September 15 at Kewpie?s, 2 Elgin Lane; 11 am: Ruro Agro Services Association (RASA), a trust form women established by Sasha, launches five gourmet Bengali spices formulated by Rakhi Purnima Das Gupta and made by the women of Ushagram. The five spices are Bati Chorchori (vegetables cooked in a bowl), Shorsho Maach (fish in mustard sauce), Mangshor Kalia (meat in rich gravy), Murgi Posto (chicken with poppy seeds) and Alur Dum (potatoes in thick gravy).
