London: Allrounder Dwayne Smith has pulled out of the West Indies squad for this month’s Champions Trophy in England because of injury.

Smith damaged his right shoulder during the recent tour of England and will return to Barbados from Bermuda where the West Indies squad is preparing for the tournament. Ryan Hinds will replace Smith in the squad.

West Indies ar e in a first-round group with South Africa and Bangladesh, who they play in their first match on September 15. (Reuters)
