It’s hilarious and it’s wacky. The story line might remind you of a Bollywood pot-boiler but the similarity ends there. The film can get even popcorn-munching adults to gulp down the antics of the animated characters.

Despite the hype, Shrek 2 has turned out to be a disaster. 89 Cinemas registered 30 per cent in the first week. The figure dipped in the second. The hangover of the year’s other big animation release Spiderman 2 has not lasted.

An expedition team, in search of a mysterious flower, chances upon dangerous reptiles. What ensues is an action-packed drama resulting in the survival of the fittest.

Success story

Inox registered a whopping 90 per cent collection on the first day with a house full board hanging during the weekend. Why? Its big, it’s bad and it’s lethal. The impact of the gigantic snake can only be felt on a 70-mm screen.
