Jammu, Aug. 29: The para commandos of the Rashtriya Rifles have been told to kill all top commanders of terror outfits in Jammu and Kashmir, reports our correspondent.

The commandos last night killed three militants of the Lashkar-e-Toiba in the Pashana forests of Surankote in Poonch. “This was a major success,” Colonel Sanjay Thakur of 9 Para said.

The militants were allegedly involved various incidents of violence, including the massacre in April of 13 men, women and children, said to be close to members of a village defence committee. The militants were also suspected to be plotting a series of attacks on security forces.

In another incident, the security forces killed four militants in an encounter at Chingus in Rajouri district.
