Mamata at home

Calcutta, Aug. 14: Mamata Banerjee tonight left a nursing home on a risk bond and returned home. She was admitted with two fractured ribs on Thursday.

Mamata was injured when a dais collapsed at a rally in West Midnapore. Mayor Subrata Mukherjee signed the bond and said she left because she was unhappy with the treatment.

Ceiling crash

Calcutta: A portion of false ceiling of the Calcutta University Institute Hall fell down in the presence of Jyoti Basu. No one was injured.
