Calcutta: Bhaichung Bhutia suffered a leg injury during East Bengal’s practice on Friday, on the eve of their CFL Super Division match against Port Trust.

“Bhutia today suffered a twist on his right ankle and has been advised rest for at least a week,” said club official and team doctor Shanti Ranjan Dasgupta.

Bhutia’s injury is a also a blow to Indian coach Stephen Constantine as the captain is likely to join the national camp at SAI Eastern Centre early next week.
