Bhujbal grumbles, skips meet

Mumbai, Aug. 1 (PTI): “Upset” with the NCP leadership for “sidelining” him, Chhagan Bhujbal today skipped a party workshop, prompting Sharad Pawar to say that those wanting to quit the Nationalist Congress Party could do so.

“Those who intend to desert the party can go ahead. My best wishes to them,” the NCP chief said, addressing the workshop.

The former Maharashtra deputy chief minister, who had repeatedly told reporters that he was “upset” with the party leadership, cited an out-of-station engagement for being absent.
