Father twice over

Los Angeles, July 21 (AP): Britney Spears’ fiance is a father for a second time.

Federline’s former girlfriend, actress Shar Jackson, delivered their baby yesterday at an Orange County hospital, Jackson’s manager told People magazine. The baby’s sex was not reported and a call to Spears’ spokeswoman was not returned late yesterday. It was the second child for Federline, a 26-year-old dancer, and Jackson, 27, who appeared on the UPN series Moesha. They dated for several years and already have a two-year-old daughter.

Federline and Spears, 22, announced their engagement in June but have not yet set a date. They began dating a few months ago, after her Las Vegas wedding to childhood friend Jason Alexander in January. That marriage was annulled 55 hours later.

Dunst, boyfriend separate

Los Angeles (AP): Kirsten Dunst and Jake Gyllenhaal, the young stars of two of Hollywood’s big summer movies, have ended their romance. Dunst, the co-star of Spider-Man 2, and Gyllenhaal, who appears in the disaster epic, The Day After Tomorrow, have gone their separate ways, his publicist said on Tuesday. Annett Wolf would not provide details of why they stopped dating, but confirmed they broke up “some time ago”. Dunst’s representative, Stephen Huvane, did not immediately return a call for comment.
