Bangalore: Protesting against some tough medication rules, the Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) trainers have refused to declare runners for the weekend’s races. A meeting between the turf authorities and trainers, on Wednesday, produced no result. Therefore, it is unlikely that races during the weekend will be held in Bangalore.

Calcutta: Royal Calcutta Turf Club (RCTC) has decided to conduct inter-state betting on Hyderabad races next Monday and also on July 26, according to an RCTC notification.
