New Delhi, June 30: Worries over late payment and the resulting penalty on mobile bills are likely to be over soon.
AirTel, the country’s leading cellular operator, will soon start sending mini statements of bill through a short message service so that the customer can pay before the due date. The new initiative called ‘M-bill’ will be available to its post-paid subscribers across the country
To avail of this facility, the customer need not send any SMS or call to get the bill. As soon as the monthly usage bill is generated, customers will get a mini-statement of the bill. It will contain, date of the previous bill, amount paid, current charges, total amount due and payment due date, Manoj Kohli, president, Mobility BTVL, said.
