Avirup, Sourav best

Sourav Kundu and Avirup Gupta have been adjudged CAB’s best junior (110 points) and sub-junior (95 points) cricketers, respectively, in the 2003-04 season. Sourav scored 310 runs and took nine wickets in four matches, while Avirup tallied 284 runs, also in four matches. Avirup also scored 300 runs for Measurers Club in the CAB second division league.

Queen of the Mission win

Queen of the Mission beat Gokhale Memorial by half a canvas in the junior girls’ section in the 32nd national inter-school regatta at the Lake Club course on Wednesday.

Sponsor for Prabhu

For the second year in a row, McDowell’s Signature has extended its support to Boniface Prabhu, to take part in the French Open Wheelchair tennis meet. The tournament will be held from June 27-July 4. The company will also sponsor Prabhu to take part in the Dutch Open to take place in Amsterdam from July 5-10.
