South Point A beat National High School by three lengths in the junior boys’ group C race at the 32nd national inter-school regatta at the Calcutta Lake Club course on Tuesday.

Rohit Chakraborty advanced into the Sub-junior boys final of the CLT table tennis meet at the BTTA Coaching School, Rabindra Sarobar on Tuesday. Rohit beat Kaushik Das 14-16, 11-5, 11-8, 11-6, 11-8 in the semi-final. He will meet Anubhav Kundu on Wednesday.

Gary’s feat

City tennis coach Gary O’Brien has successfully completed ITF level II coaching course held in Mumbai during March 29 to April 9.
