June 18 at Kala Mandir (B); 6 pm: Bijoy Sangeet Academy presents Arohan — an evening of classical music and dance. Participants: Sourav Chatterjee (santoor), Biswajit Roy Chowdhury (violin) and Sanatan Goswami (harmonium) in duet, Mahananda Kanjilal (Kathak) and Pandit Arun Bhaduri (vocal). WORKSHOP

June 18 - 20 & June 27 at the Seminar Room No. 9, Vivekananda College, Thakurpukur: The department of philosophy, Vivekananda College, Thakurpukur, hosts a UGC-sponosred workshop on Ethics: Indian Point of View. Swami Atmapriyanandaji Maharaj, principal, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandir, Belur, will deliver the keynote address on June 18 at 10.20 am.
