New Delhi, June 12 (PTI): India start their hockey campaign in the Athens Games against title contenders The Netherlands on August 15.
According to the competition schedule released by the international hockey federation (FIH) on Saturday, Indias next preliminary round match would be against South Africa on August 17. Placed in pool B, India would take on Australia on August 19, New Zealand on August 21 and Argentina on August 23 in their league matches.
The classification matches and both the semi-finals will be played on August 25, while the play-offs and the final would take place on August 27.
