Sen memorial lecture on ‘Women and Family: Bamabodhini Patrika’ at Institute of Historical Studies, at 3.30 pm. A discussion on ‘Shilper Nari’, featuring Sumita Chakraborty, Damayanti Basu Singh, Jayati Gangopadhyay and coordinated by Madhuchhanda Chattopadhyay, at Samokal Art Gallery, Gariahat Road, 6 pm. Paintings, graphics and sculptures by women artists on display.

Film course

A film appreciation course for the young, presented by Seagull Foundation for the Arts, at Seagull Arts and Media Resource Centre, 2 pm to 6 pm.

Theatre
