Calcutta, May 25: Most Calcuttans will now have to pay more for electricity at home, with middle-income families being hit the hardest. According to new tariff rates, domestic consumers of CESC Ltd who use up between 150 and 299 units a month will pay 57.4 paise more per unit. The new rates come into retrospective effect from April 1, 2004.
