Bangalore, May 22 (PTI): Emerson D’Silva’s brace helped Fransa of Goa score a 2-0 victory over FC Kochin in a second division match of the National Football League on Saturday.

Fransa, with three wins in four matches, have kept alive their chances of making it to the top tier. They have one more match to play. FC Kochin, who have lost three of their four matches, are out of the reckoning.

On Friday, SBT dealt a blow to Ever-Reeady’s hopes by beating the Calcutta team 1-0 (as reported in Saturday’s Late City edition). Abdul Hakkim scored the goal.
