Calcutta: The stewards, Madras Race Club (MRC) have decided to postpone Thursday’s Udhagamandalam races by a day. The inter-state betting on Ooty races, therefore, will be conducted by the Royal Calcutta Turf Club (RCTC) on Friday, according to an RCTC notification.

The Udhagamandalam races scheuled for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday have been postponed due to rains, according to PTI from Chennai. The stewards, MRC have, therefore, rescheduled Wednesday’s races on Friday while Thursday’s programme will be conducted on Saturday. Races scheduled for Friday would now be held on Sunday, the MRC said in a press release.
