April 24 at Sujata Sadan; 6 pm: Swapnoraag presents a music programme, Bangla Chhayachhabir Gaan and Pradeshik Sangeet, by its members, to be followed by a solo recital by Sraboni Sen. April 24 at G.D. Birla Sabhagar; 6 pm: IpsCan presents Nritya Sringar: Taley Taley — a musical dance fusion featuring Tanusree Shankar, Bikram Ghosh and Ronnie Shambhik Ghosh who will highlight the chosen theme (the freedom to explore) in their work. April 25 at Rabindra Sadan; 5.30 pm: Ananda Chandrika presents Joyodhwani — a Kathak dance tribute to and celebration of Calcutta’s cultural heritage. Performed by Ananda Chandrika’s students led by Amita Dutt. April 25 at Birla Academy of Art & Culture; 6 pm: Guruguha Sangeeth Sammelan celebrates the 230th Jayanti Utsavam of Nadajyoti Sri Muthuswamy Dikshitar with a veena recital by Latha Karthickeyan and vocal recital by S. Aishwarya.

WORKSHOP

April 26 - 30 at 188/90 Prince Anwar Shah Road: Thoughtshop Foundation begins its summer special All Round Personality Development Workshop specially for those who have appeared for their Boards Exams. The workshop aims to help young people explore their strengths and weaknesses, enhance communication skills, explore relationships and responsibilities, cope with stress and assist them in making decisions for their future. April 26 - May 1 at Bharatiyam Cultural Multiplex, Salt Lake: Workshop on Kushan folk dance of Assam to be conducted by Sushmita Adhikari of Gauripur, Assam.
