March 25 at Academy of Fine Arts; 6.30 pm: Nandikar presents Buddhadev Bose’s Pata Jhorey Jaye (direction: Rudraprasad Sengupta) and Munshi Premchand’s Borda (direction: Goutam Halder). March 25 at Madhusudan Mancha, 6.30 pm and March 27 at Academy of Fine Arts, 3 pm: Choopkatha presents Mrs. Soriano. Direction: Dolly Basu. PERFORMING ARTS

Till April 30 at Seagull Arts and Media Resource Centre; 2 pm - 7.30 pm: The Seagull Foundation for the Arts, in association with Pro Helvetia - Arts Council of Switzerland, presents Borders and Beyond — an international exhibition of photographs.Participating photographers: Manuel Bauer, Jodi Bieber, Julian Cardona, Thomas Kern, Joachim Ladefoged, Don McCullin, Valeri Nistratov, Meinrad Schade, Randa Shaath and Roger Wehrli.

FESTIVAL

Till March 27 at Bharatiyam Cultural Multiplex and Aikatan Complex, Salt Lake; 6.30 pm: EZCC hosts a wekk-long Vasant Utsav featuring classical music and dance performances, an artists’ camp, a poets’ meet and an exhibition on the theme of spring. March 23: Folk music. March 24: Folk dances. March 25: Classical music. March 26: Classical dances. March 27: Maharaas featuring Aloka Kanungo and Kalavati Devi and their troupes. Also, an artists’ camp (March 23-25; 3 pm - 6 pm) and a poets’ meet (March 26; 10.30 am - 1.30 pm).

Till March 25 at Gaganendra Shilpa Pradarshasala; 2 pm - 8 pm: The Gardeners presents the fifth annual exhibition on Bonsai. Till March 31 at Gallery Kanishka’s, #2463-4296; 11 am - 8 pm: Metalcraft — an exhibition of tribal dokra work from Bastar in Chhatisgarh, created by National Award-winning artist Rajendra Baghel.

WORKSHOP
