An evening of jazz and blues, featuring Usha Uthup, Anjum Katyal, Debabrata Mitra, Nondon Bagchi, Sumit Ramachandran and Willy Walters, presented by Saf Fermion, in association with Open Doors, at GD Birla Sabhagar, 7 pm.

For kids

A variety entertainment programme for children suffering from cancer, organised by Ichhapore Nabanita Cancer Welfare Society, at Nicco Park, 4.30 pm.

Dance

Performances by Sanjukta Ray and Srabanti Bhattacharya (Odissi); Shatarupa Chatterjee and Naren Chandra Baruah (Satriya); G. Vidya Murti (Kuchipudi), and Alokparna Guha (Kathak) at Swarna Nritya Pratibha, at Rabindra Sadan, 6.30 pm. Geetagovindam festival, with classical dance recitals choreographed by Poushali Mukherjee, at Bharatiyam, 6.30 pm.

Water Day

A discussion to mark International Water Day at Gorky Sadan, 3 pm. A documentary, Water, directed by Urmi Chakraborty, will be screened.

Exhibitions

An exhibition of sculptures will be inaugurated at Charukala Bhavan, at 5 pm. Debasish Manna’s works on display at Genesis Art Gallery, 4 pm to 8 pm.
