Calcutta: Sahara India will soon sign a three-year deal with Federation International de Hockey (FIH), the sport’s world governing body, to become one of its global partners. According to information received here, things have been finalised and the formalities are expected to be completed by the end of this month.
The deal will enable Sahara to get title rights and branding opportunities at major FIH tournaments including the men’s and women’s World Cup and the Champions Trophy. With this tie-up, Sahara will join FIH’s three global partners — BDO International, Rabobank and Samsung.
