London: The ICC has added four more names to its elite panel of Match Referees, taking the total strength of the unit to eight. The ICC did not renew the contract of Wasim Raja.

The four new members in the Emirates elite club of referees are Sri Lankan batsman Roshan Mahanama, former Australian bowler Alan Hurst, former England batsman Chris Broad and former New Zealand captain Jeff Crowe, an ICC press release said.

They will join Chief Referee Ranjan Madugalle from Sri Lanka, Gundappa Vishwanath, Clive Lloyd and South African Mike Procter.
