New Delhi: Karan Rastogi booked a semi-final berth at the Australian Open boys’ championship in Melbourne on Friday.

The fourth-seeded Rastogi defeated Italy’s Fabio Fognini 6-1, 7-5, according to information received here. Rastogi will meet eighth seed Gael Monfils of France in the semis. Monfils beat 13th-seeded American Scoville Jenkins 6-4, 6-1 in the quarters.
