Bangalore: Fifteen horses will face the starter for the 2,400m Bangalore Derby on Monday. However, there is no looking beyond the S. Ganapathy-filly Fond Fantasy. The Razeen Excentrique filly has made a clean sweep of three earlier classics here and she looks all set to pocket the rich Derby purse of a shade under Rs 38 lakh.
The multi-classic winning filly is also maintaining her dazzling form. Moreover, in her earlier encounters, she has beaten most of runners in the opposition. B. Prakash, partners the MAM Ramaswamy-property.
The contest in the Derby will be for the minor placings which may be sorted out by stable-mates Star Of Windsor and Spark Of Glory, and M. Eshwer’s Starcent.
