New Delhi, Jan. 19: iGATE Global Solutions today bagged a $20-million deal that involves a five-year contract with California-based GreenPoint Mortgage, which has around $22 billion worth of assets.

iGATE Global Solutions will manage selected parts of GreenPoint’s back-office processes and enhance their efficiency and operational excellence, as per established service level agreements.

Chief executive Phaneesh Murthy said, “We are pleased that we can help GreenPoint compete with much larger players by providing superior analytics, process and technology optimisation and relocating certain services to India. This is the business ecosystem that will drive their competitive edge against larger and more established players. We are entering into this deal, expected to exceed $20 million in contract value, to help GreenPoint achieve this goal.”
