A winter symphony

Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life

Pablo Picasso In keeping with this philosophy, Idiyas Gallery is currently hosting an exhibition of paintings and sculptures by 30 artists.This collection expresses, evokes and provokes, and is crafted to create a stunning visual impact. Selected masterpieces and inspired creations with a blend of rich colours and themes captivate the viewer’s imagination. Various mediums including tempera, water colours, oils, acrylics and charcoal have been used extensively by the participating artists. Innovative sculptures, too, are made from metal, bronze, marble and fiber glass. The high point of this show is that it features the works of both renowned artists and upcoming talents. Participants include Paritosh Sen, Suhas Roy, Ganesh Haloi, Ramanando Bandyopadhyay, Prokash Karmakar, Chandra Bhattacharya, Bimal Kundu, Partho Bhattacharya, Sanatan Dinda, Bratin Khan, Rintu Roy, Avijit Dutta (whose painting appears along), Apto, Subroto and Shibsaday.
