Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund is planning to launch a monthly income plan in two variants — one aimed at retail savers and the other, at corporate investors. The plan for retail investors will invest around 25 per cent of its corpus in shares. The corporate plan will have a much smaller equity component — say around 5 per cent — and will compete with liquid and debt schemes.
