NIIT to train ICSI members

NIIT has entered into an exclusive agreement with Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) to train its members and students on personal computing skills and IT laws, security, e-commerce, digital signatures and privacy protection. Learners will have the flexibility to choose and practise from a range of specially designed task alternatives as part of the curriculum.

Srei licence

Srei Insurance Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Calcutta-based Srei International Finance, an infrastructure equipment finance and project finance firm, said the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority has in principle granted it the licence to offer broking services in life, general and re-insurance areas.

IBP camp

IBP has organised a special eye check-up camp in Mumbai, where people belonging to the below poverty line category were given free treatment, spectacles and woollen items.

Reebok move

Reebok India Company has introduced an aerobic instructor certification course in Calcutta. Spread over five weekends, the course covers a wide range of topics related to cardio-vascular fitness.
