New Delhi: The inquiry commissioner D. V. Subba Rao, probing the bribery scandal involving Maharashtra cricketer Abhjit Kale, will submit his report to the BCCI on Wednesday, two days ahead of the deadline.
“The report is almost complete. I will be submitting it to the cricket board tomorrow,” Rao, also the chairman of the Bar Council of India, said over phone from Visakhapatnam.
The preliminary probe into the bribery allegations was completed last Saturday. Kale and the two national selectors, Kiran More and Pranab Roy, deposing before the commissioner in Visakhapatnam.
Apart from the three, rao had also summoned national selector Sanjay jagdale, for a hearing since More and Roy had written to the commission that they had discussed the issue with him.
