The play takes place in a cafeteria, patronised by people from different walks of life. They take time off from their routine life and congregate here to forget about their worries and relax. However, a sudden spark charges the atmosphere of the cafeteria and tension is palpable when one of the regular visitors is found to be HIV positive. The crisis leads people to react in different ways. Their immediate reactions are intense and varied. Through a series of categorical arguments, the play dispels the misinformation and taboos about the dreaded disease that drives its victims to face social ostracism. The play also discusses the cause of the epidemic and finally concludes on a positive note. This AIDS awareness play, presented by Action-Aid India and produced by Ensemble, is directed by Sohag Sen.
