Dhaka, Nov. 30 (PTI): Three policemen and a terrorist were injured in a shootout as police recovered a huge quantity of highly sophisticated arms and explosives from an area adjacent to high-security Barindhara diplomatic enclave in the capital.

Acting on a tip off, a police squad raided a terrorist hideout in Kurile Bishwa road area last night and seized AK- 47 rifles, revolvers, grenades, detonators, time devices, 990 rounds of bullets and a wireless set, police sources said today

At least three policemen were injured in the encounter which lasted for more than half-an-hour during which two terrorists managed to flee while one was arrested, they said.
