Tolly to get new Nigerian

Tollygunge Agragami are set to recruit a new Nigerian defender. Barobaro Baba Ebea has played a few games for Bhratri Sangha this season and was practising with Mohun Bagan recently. It has been learnt that Mohun Bagan coach Aloke Mukherjee recommended Ebea’s name to Tollygunge, who begin their National League campaign against Churchill Brothers in Goa on December 1. The new player will have to registered before Saturday.

Squash meet

Tamil Nadu will meet New Delhi in the inter-state squash meet at Calcutta Racket Club on Wednesday. In Tuesday’s semi-finals, Tamil Nadu beat Services 4-1, while New Delhi overcame Maharashtra 3-2.

Local boy Saurav Ghosal, who now represents Tamil Nadu beat Vikas Jangra 9-1, 9-0, 9-2. For New Delhi, Ritwik Bhattacharya downed Sahil Vora 9-4, 9-4, 9-1 and Gaurav Nandrajog defeated Surpreet Singh 9-3, 9-1, 9-3.
