Trilogy to invest Rs 200 cr

Mumbai, Nov. 24: The US-based Trilogy E-Business Software, provider of industry-specific enterprise software, today announced Rs 200-crore expansion plans for its operations in India.

This investment, to be made over a period of three years, will be in research and development, product development, human resource, marketing and support among others.

Further, Trilogy will expand its local operations in Bangalore from being a satellite centre to an independent full-fledged organisation by shifting core product development work here. Its Indian arm also plans to increase employee strength to more than 250 by next year.

“Our growth plans for India are challenging,” said Chinnikrishna Kommi, MD, Trilogy E-Business Software India Pvt Ltd.

He added that the Trilogy team in India would build specialised products and solutions to cater to the specific needs of customers across verticals.
