EB set to get Brazilian striker

Calcutta: East Bengal are set to rope in a new Brazilian striker, Junior, for the National Football League (NFL).

According to a club source, Junior has been recommended by Douglas Da Silva. “He (Junior) won’t have to go through a trial,” the source informed. Junior should be in the city by this week.

It has been decided that professional motivator Soumitra Chattopadhay will have counselling sessions with Mike Okoro before the NFL..

Mohun Bagan are unlikely to get the services of Zimbabwe defender David for the NFL due to monetary reasons.

In that case, Marcos Pareira will be retained.
