i-flex, IBM in banking alliance

Bangalore, Nov. 20: IBM and i-flex Solutions today announced a global strategic alliance to deliver and market core banking replacement solutions to medium and large size banks in major markets worldwide. The joint solution will help reduce costs and streamline operational efficiencies by transitioning a bank’s legacy core banking infrastructure and applications to a modern banking platform, IBM managing director Abraham Thomas said. IBM and i-flex will also jointly promote Reveleus, i-flex Solutions business intelligence and analytics product suite, which offers ways to enhance customer insight to manage risk and improve compliance.

Mumbai, Nov. 20: Sebi has decided to reduce the notice period for intimating exchanges by listed companies about book closure/record date in phases to ensure that there is minimum discomfort to the market players.

Electrolux issue

New Delhi, Nov. 20: Electrolux Kelvinator India plans to file on Monday its updated application for Rs 200 crore rights issue with Sebi, chief executive Rajeev Karwal said.
