Win Medicare charts growth strategy

Calcutta, Nov. 10: Win Medicare has set a target to achieve a turnover of Rs 200 crore in the next couple of years. Its existing turnover is Rs 120 crore. The Modi group company, which has several leading over-the-counter range of products like Betadine and Hepamerz, is planning to expand its business through tie-ups with pharma multinationals to get licences for more products.

Vice-president (sales and marketing) Surjit Aurora said the company is also keen to get into countrywide retailing business. “The over-the-counter brands and retailing business should help us grow in the next few years,” Aurora said.

The company has licence tie-ups with Mundi Pharma, Tillotts Pharma and IBSA of Switzerland, Merz Pharma of Germany, HRA Pharma of France and Orion Pharma of Finland.
