Calcutta, Oct. 31: The state electricity board conducted raids across the state in the past 24 hours to nab power thieves.

Eighty-four people were arrested from Siliguri, Burdwan, Behrampore, the Midnapores and the districts adjoining the city, said a board release. Television sets, ceiling fans, refrigerators and air-conditioners were among electrical gadgets seized.
