Crowning Moment, Alcalde shine

Calcutta: Alcalde, Crowning Moment, Aiberni and Acceptor were impressive from among the following horses seen exercising on Wednesday:Outer sand track

800m: Metal Precieux-Pot Of Gold (C. Alford) and Broto-Stunning Wonder (Domingo) in 57s; (400m) 29s. They were level. They are two-year-olds. Diffident-Cadenza (Merchant) and Sizzling Melody-River Chase (A. P. Singh) in 1-0s; (400m) 30s. Former was a length better. Both are two-year-olds.

Monsoon Track

800m: Alcalde (C. Alford) in 50s; (400m) 24s. Very fit. Crowning Moment (Rabani) and Aiberni (C. Alford) in 49s; (400m) 24s. They were level. Note both. Acceptor (Rabani) in 50s; (400m) 25s. Good. Alternator (C. Alford) and Allodium (Rabani) in 50s; (400m) 25s. They were level. They are fit. Rescue Act (Maseyk) and Everlasting Love (Islam) in 53s; (400m) 26s. They were easy as they finished level. Perfect Vision (A. P. Singh) in 55s; (400m) 27s. Maintains form. Flamebird (Islam) and Annotate (Maseyk) in 52s; (400m) 26s. They moved well while they finished level. Lockers Park (Rb) in 59s; (400m) 30s. Seeker (Rabani) in 55s; (400m) 27s. Easy. Ardency (Islam) and Frontier Flame (Rabani) in 52s; (400m) 25s. They were level. They are also in fine condition. Mister Twister (Islam) and Alessio (Maseyk) in 52s; (400m) 25s. Former was 4 ls better. Calamint (Rb), Warrshan-River Foyler (C. Alford) and Batzushka-Academy Gold (Domingo) in 55s; (400m) 28s. The first named was easy while finishing ahead by a length. The last two are two-year-olds.

Sand track

800m: No Regrets (Som) in 55s; (400m) 28s. Easy. The Archer (Rb) in 56s; (400m) 28s. Moved easy. Arien (Tamang) in 55s; (400m) 25s. Moved well. Opener (Som) in 54s; (600m) 40s; (400m) 26s. Fit. Star Cutter (Tamang) in 55s; (400m) 26s. Fit.

Colic deaths: Although the postmortem report of the seven horses who died of colic in Bangalore on October 23 was expected on Wednesday, it is likely to be further delayed by a day or two, according to Nirmal Prasad, secretary, Bangalore Turf Club.
