The birth centenary of Shaheed Jatin Das will be celebrated by members of Shaheed Jatin Das Smriti Samity. The day-long programme will be flagged off with the garlanding of the martyr’s statue by Kironmoy Nanda, minister in-charge of fisheries department. The programme concludes in the evening with a cultural show at Madhusudan Mancha at 6 pm. The show features vocal recital by Srikanta Acharya,
tracing the martyr’s life. Participants include Srikanta Acharya, Debarati Som Pradip Ghosh, Molly Debnath and others.
