For the book

Injury has again delayed Rudi van Vuurenís chance to become the first player to appear at the cricket and rugby World Cups. A calf muscle problem forced the Namibia flyhalf to miss the match with Argentina. Van Vuuren was selected for the 1999 cricket World Cup but did not play a match.
