Kinetic launches Velocity

Motorcycle maker Kinetic Engineering has launched its 115cc Velocity as part of its efforts to boost sales and expand product portfolio. The motorcycle sports an introductory price of Rs 38,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi), Kinetic Engineering joint managing director Sulajja Firodia Motwani said. “This (the launch of the motorcycle) marks our entry into the executives’ motorcycles segment, which is the largest in the bike market,” she said.

Eonour net up

Eonour Technologies Ltd, a technology solutions provider, has reported a 17.48 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 6.03 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2003, as against Rs 5.13 crore in the year-ago period.

KPIT Cummins

KPIT Cummins Infosystems Ltd, a global software solutions provider, has recorded a jump of 147% in net profit at Rs 3.12 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2003, compared with Rs 1.26 crore in the year-ago period.

IL&FS branch

IL&FS Investments has opened its third branch in Calcutta at Tata Centre. The company has acquired the erstwhile equity broking division of Tata TD Warehouse.

Vijaya Bank

Vijaya Bank is re-engineering its business processes. It plans to computerise all its branches and set up a centralised customer service management system in Bangalore to introduce anywhere banking and phone banking facilities.
