October 17 at Birla Academy Hall; 5.30 pm: Rhythm hosts its 22nd annual classical music concert featuring the artistes of the institution in Taal Bichitra, an orchestra of percussion instruments, directed by Pandit Sujit Saha; vocal recital by Pandit Samaresh Chaudhury with Pandit Sujit Saha on the tabla and Mainak Das on the harmonium. Also, a solo harmonium recital by Pandit Sohanlal Sharma with Parimal Chakraborty on the tabla.
