CABís unique plan for umpires

Calcutta:After the players, itís the umpires. The CAB has decided to impart motivational training to the local umpires in a seminar organised by the state association on October 25.

Itís the same agency which will do the motivation training for the senior and under-19 Bengal players. ďThe company does similar training with multinational executives. They gave a demonstration to the different age-group coaches and it was very well received,Ē a senior CAB official informed. Senior Mumbai and Bengal umpires M.R. Singh and Subrata Banerjee will conduct the seminar.

However, the state umpiresí demand for a pay hike has been ruled out.
