October 2 - 4 at Bijon Theatre; 6.30 pm: Sayak’s Badhutantra (dir: Meghnad Bhattacharyya) on the 2nd; Mangalik’s Harun-al-Rashid (Dir: Samir Biswas) on 3rd, and Anya Theatre’s Madhab Malanchi Kainya (Dir: Bibhas Chakraborty). Till September 30 at Idiyas Gallery, 15 Dover Road; 10-30 am - 7.30 pm: Exhibition of contemporary Indian art and sculptures in various media titled Continuity concludes today. Till October 1 at CIMA Gallery; 11 am - 8 pm: A crafts exhibition showcasing decorative art of India titled Art in Life features traditional items customised for contemporary living. Till October 10 at Chitrakoot Art Gallery; 3 pm - 8 pm: Mahisasurmardini Durga as painted by Kalighat, early Bengal and modern artists. World elders day

October 1 at Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Gol Park; 9 am: Indian Association of Retired Persons has organised a walk by its members and well-wishers on the occasion of World Elders Day. It will be flagged of by mayor Subrata Mukherjee. Also, inauguration of a Day Care Centre at 10.30 am by Major-General K.K. Ganguly (Retd) followed by distribution of clothes to inmates of Nabanir (old age home).
