What to do this weekend

Soiree

Catch a dance performance by Dona Ganguly at Calcutta Club, 7 pm. Listen to Cassiniís Division at an evening of Rock Baji at Trincas, on Sunday from 7 pm. Applaud the scholarship holders presenting Bharatanatyam, Goudiya Nritya, Nazrulgeeti and folk music recitals at EZCCís Pratibha Utsav at Bharatiyam, 6.30 pm.

Exhibition

Drop in to Art in Life, an exhibition of Indian handicrafts, plus clothes and accessories by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, at CIMA Gallery, 11 am-8 pm. Be dazzled by Chetna Nandaís collection of designer gold jewellery at Identity, and an exhibition-cum-sale by Surana Jewellers of Jaipur, at Taj Bengal, both from 11 am. Appreciate Mahisasurmardini Durga, paintings through the years, at Chitrakoot, 3 pm to 8 pm.

Campaign

Attend a meeting for the promotion of the craft of women patuas of Midnapore, organised by the Folk and Tribal Cultural Centre and JU School of Womenís Studies, at Bangla Akademi, 12.30 pm.
