Jugraj recovery satisfies dad

Phagwara: Harjinder Singh, father of hockey star Jugraj Singh, is satisfied with the treatment and recovery of his son and is overwhelmed by the public good-will shown to his son, him and his family.

Following a road accident, Jugraj had to be hospitalised and underwent surgery at Ludhiana.

Talking to a newsmen on Sunday at local Sadar police station, Harjinder said that Jugraj was responding well to the treatment.

He admitted that plans were afoot to send the player abroad for further availing of specialised medical facilities available there.

When asked which country would Jugraj be flown to for further treatment, Harjinder said that it was for the Union ministry of sports and Indian Hockey Federation to decide.
